Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 September 2026

This policy covers personal data collected through planetd.solutions. It describes exactly what the site collects, why, who else receives it, and how to have it removed.

Draft — not yet legally reviewed. This text was written to match what the site actually does, but it has not been checked by a lawyer, and the highlighted placeholders still need real values before it can be relied on.

Who we are

Planet D is a growth-infrastructure agency operating the website at planetd.solutions. For questions about this policy or any data we hold, contact info@planetd.solutions.

Registered entity name and registered address: [[PLACEHOLDER: registered company name and address]]. Data protection contact: [[PLACEHOLDER: name or role of the data protection contact, if different from the address above]].

What the contact form collects

The contact form on this site collects exactly five fields, all of which you type yourself:

There is one further field, named _gotcha, which is hidden from people and from screen readers. It exists only so automated spam bots fill it in and give themselves away. If you are a person, it is always empty.

We use this information for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not use it for marketing lists, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors named below.

Third parties that receive data

Your contact-form submission is handled entirely by this site's own server. Two third parties are involved elsewhere on the site, and no others:

ProviderWhat it receivesWhy
Planet D
this website's own server
Everything you type into the contact form: name, email, company, area of interest and your free-text message. The form posts to this site's own server, which emails the enquiry to our inbox. No third-party form processor is involved — your submission is not stored in, or forwarded through, anyone else's service.
Google Analytics 4
Google LLC, USA
Standard analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. When a contact form submission succeeds we also record that a lead occurred, along with the fixed area-of-interest value you selected. To understand which pages are useful. No name, email, company or free-text message is ever sent to Google. IP anonymisation is enabled. Analytics loads only if a measurement ID is configured; if it is not, no request reaches Google at all.
Fontshare
Indian Type Foundry
Your IP address and browser details, as part of the ordinary request for the two webfonts the site uses. To serve the Clash Display and Satoshi typefaces.

Google is based in the United States, so analytics data is transferred outside the UK/EEA. Contact-form submissions are not: they go to this site's own server and then to our inbox. [[PLACEHOLDER: confirm the transfer mechanism relied on for analytics — e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses — with your lawyer]]

Cookies and local storage

The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies to distinguish one visit from another; if analytics is not configured, none are set. We use no advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking pixels.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for [[PLACEHOLDER: retention period for contact-form enquiries, e.g. 24 months]] and then deleted from our inbox. Analytics data is retained according to the retention window set in our Google Analytics property, currently [[PLACEHOLDER: GA4 data retention setting, e.g. 14 months]].

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@planetd.solutions and we will respond within [[PLACEHOLDER: response window for data subject requests, e.g. 30 days]].

If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you have the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority: [[PLACEHOLDER: name of the applicable data protection authority for your jurisdiction]].

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. The current version was last updated on 6 September 2026.
